National Geographic Student Expedition

I spent the summer after my 11th grade in Bali with a group of 14 peers from around the world. National Geographic had organised an expedition to help biologists monitor coral reefs and to work on local conservation projects.

The experience also resulted in a wider understanding of the impact of local cultural practices on the environment.
